The Cumbria Easter Rally is the first event for us in 2024. The event features a display of classic and vintage commercial vehicles throughout Brough, Kirkby Stephen, and the surrounding areas. This eagerly awaited event is a highlight for the local community, and businesses in the town.
On Saturday, March 30th, and Sunday, March 31st, visitors can enjoy exhibitions of classic buses, lorries, tractors, and more in various local villages. Complimentary transport will be available across the area, and we plan to attend both days of this exciting event.

Workington Transport Heritage Trust are once again hosting their LN event from the harbourside of Whitehaven. Originally to celebrate the much loved Leyland National, the event quickly grew to celebrate all things Leyland. At LN52 we will not only be celebrating the Leyland National, but will be looking back to the bus scene fifty years ago.
With heritage buses, commercial vehicles and vintage cars on display, there will be free bus tours and free park and ride. Other attractions include; exhibitor stalls, local traders, fairground and much more for the whole family. Everything Leyland National... and much, much more!

The Ribble Vehicle Preservation Trust is set to host its renowned 'Vintage Bus Running Day' once again in Morecambe. Featuring a diverse array of vintage buses, including several from the historic Ribble Company, RVPT will provide a complimentary service every 10/15 minutes from Carnforth railway station, Bare Lane Station, Happy Mount Park, and Heysham Village to the Morecambe Football Club & Promenade.
In addition to showcasing vintage buses and coaches at the football club and along the Promenade, there will be open-top tours available, weather permitting.

We are attending one of the Sunday of The Scottish Vintage Bus Museum "August Open Weekend"this year. This special event sees the museum opens its doors to the public, and bus enthusiasts, as well as the general public, to see vintage buses on display at the museum and from further afield.
During the Open Weekend, the museum organises various activities such as guided tours, exhibitions, and even bus rides on the vintage vehicles. A great opportunity for people to learn about the history of buses, appreciate the restoration work done by enthusiasts, and enjoy a nostalgic experience at huge museum site.
